How to delete your data
festiveshine.com and our Instagram account @festiveshine_com are operated by K Retail, 1st Floor, No. 2/5, 3rd Cross, Old Toll Gate, Mysore Road, Bangalore 560026. When you message or comment on @festiveshine_com, we use your messages and comments (and, if you place an order, your name, phone number and delivery address) only to answer you and to deliver your order. We do not use your Instagram chats for marketing, and we do not sell your data.
What we keep
- Instagram messages and comments: deleted automatically from our systems 90 days after we receive them.
- Your basic customer record (your Instagram username): deleted 90 days after your last message to us.
- Order details: kept in our store for the period the law requires for invoices, GST and returns.
How to ask us to delete your data
- Message us on Instagram @festiveshine_com: "Delete my data", or
- Email info@festiveshine.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and your Instagram username.
Within 30 days we will delete your chats and personal details from our systems and from our Instagram inbox, and confirm by reply. Records we must keep by law (such as GST invoices) are kept only for the legal retention period. Instagram keeps its own copy of the chat, which you can delete in the Instagram app.
Service providers
Our service providers, including Shopify (online store and orders), Cloudflare (hosting for our Instagram messaging system) and Anthropic (an AI assistant we may use to help draft replies), process the data on our behalf to provide their services to us, may do so outside India, and keep copies under their own retention terms.
